Dear Lower School Families,

Welcome back to school! It is with great excitement and anticipation that we begin another wonderful year at James Island Christian School. I hope you have all had a fantastic summer filled with laughter, relaxation, and cherished moments with family and friends.

To our returning students, welcome back! We have missed your smiles and enthusiasm. To our new students and families joining us for the first time, we extend a warm welcome. You are now part of our JICS family, and we are thrilled to have you with us. We cannot wait to see what all of our students will achieve this year.

Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where each child can thrive. From exciting lessons in the classroom to creative activities on the playground, we are here to support and encourage every child's unique journey of discovery. As we partner with our local churches and your families, we are excited to spend another school year accomplishing our mission of instilling an educational foundation that is Christ-centered, Biblically-based, academically excellent, and service-driven.

Lower School students (3rd - 5th) grades are required to choose and attend a MAP test date.* Reserve your preferred time below.

*If you have tested at JICS since June 1, please reach out to admissions@jics.org to determine if you need to attend a testing session.

Bring your school supplies to class and meet your teacher, and pick up your parent information packet (including carpool lane assignments). During this fun and exciting event, learn more about sports, clubs, and PTF opportunities.
