If you are looking for a strong academic school that will teach character and integrity, JICS is the place for you and your family! As a current parent, I have seen my two girls improve in many areas. My family truly desires a school that will educate but also love our children unconditionally. We have truly been blessed the past two years and I look forward to a strong 2010-'11 school year! We are a school that wants each family to feel part of our family and one that will strive for excellence academically, spiritually and athletically.
It is our prayer that the student who is a part of JICS experiences the love of God, the truth of His word, and the joy of His salvation. We trust God to provide us the wisdom and knowledge to achieve our goals. Academically, we do not settle for mediocrity. Spiritually, we do not settle for lukewarmness. Socially, our relationships must be centered on our oneness in Christ. The goals of Christian education at JICS can be summarized as the following:
1. To help every student to be "thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Tim. 3:17
2. To encourage all students to "love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and love their neighbor as themselves." Matt. 22:37-39
3. To give Christ pre-eminence in all things. Colossians 1:18
The teaching of a biblical worldview starts in the home and extends to the church and school. The philosophy of Christian education is developed from the Bible and it stands against the godless philosophies of humanism, materialism, secularism.
